Join Our Team

Oceans ESU is a multinational environmental consultancy working in the UK, Africa, Asia, Australia and the Middle East. Due to continued growth we have both full time positions and placement opportunities available reporting to our office in Barnsley but predominantly working in the oilfields of Africa. This is where our reed bed systems clean produced water a byproduct of the oil extraction process. This is an environmentally friendly, sustainable and cost effective way of dealing with the contaminated water.

Following tailored design, we supervise the construction of these reed beds. We then monitor the systems undertaking a variety of tests. Dissolved oxygen, electrical conductivity, pH and contaminants are measured at various points on the system. Our output from these systems is clean water used in certain areas for irrigation and afforestation.

With demand lead pressure on oil supplies, and an increasing understanding within both Governments and multi-nationals of the requirements for sustainability, the benefits of reed beds technologies and a growing company like Oceans ESU are clear to be seen.
